Manushi Chhillar is an Indian model was born on 14 May 1997 she is beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World 2017. She was previously crowned Femina Miss India 2017 on 25 June 2017. Chhillar is the sixth Indian woman to win Miss World, and the first since Priyanka Chopra won Miss World 2000.
Manushi, a medical student from Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonipat, was crowned Miss India World 2017 on Sunday,
at the 54th Femina Miss India World 2017 held at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai on Sunday night. The first runner-up was Sana Dua from Jammu and Kashmir and the second runner-up was Priyanka Kumari from Bihar.
But her life’s mission, she says, is also to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene through her initiative Project Shakti.
She is very keen on spreading social awareness. She keeps educating people about problems related to menstrual cycle through her “Project Shakti”, her beauty for purpose project.
With dancing, singing, poetry writing and painting as her favourite interests, Manushi believes in just one motto: “The sky is the limit. We are limitless and so are our dreams, we must never doubt ourselves.”
Manushi is beauty with brains; she aspires to become a gynecologist. Currently, she is pursuing MBBS from Sonepat’s Bhagat Phool Singh Government college.
Manushi is very fond of acting. She was a part of National School of Drama too.
